Me as the web designer
In 2018, I have signed a contract with the school I was studying in (IT School #124). Me and two of my colleagues and ex-classmates were responsible for creating a new website for our school. The problem which our client had is that the look of the old website was not matching the specialization of the school.

Issue with this old website were
- on the left, website had bunch of useless pages such as “chat”, “calendar”.
- pages on the left could be grouped in categorizes
- look of the website is pretty old, as it was written in 2007
- old information on the website, which was not updating at all
All these issues were giving the school not the best reputation as the school was specialized in IT.
Within 8-9 months, we have created the concept, design, new features and the website itself. Out new website was based on the WordPress with our own design, which is not taken from the WordPress template library.

As you can see, new features are
- New logo of the school, which is made in vector graphics and can adapt to any size
- All menu is located at the top of the website, everything is categorized
- Removed necessary pages, such as “chat”, “calendar”.
- Added slider and the brief description of the school on the main page
- Added “News” bar
- Added footer with “contact us” information, Google map with the location of the school and copyright mark
However, our client also had preferences for the website, this is why we have added some pages on the top of the website.
Overall, it was very good job experience, which gave me valuable skills such as knowledge of HTML, CSS, WordPress and creating templates via Adobe Photoshop.
Me as the sales advisor
On January 2020, I have got the job as the Sales Adviser in Club Demonstration Service Canada. This was my first official job in Toronto and in Canada in general. Here, I was responsible for selling different products every working shift and providing customers with samples of the product (it wasn’t always food, it also could be Tide Pods).
